LONDON--GlaxoSmithKline PLC (GSK.LN) Thursday announced that Chief Executive Officer Andrew Witty sold 10,000 ordinary shares held in the company at 16.365 pounds ($20.1100) each.

Shares closed at GBP16.31, valuing the pharmaceutical firm at GBP79.50 billion.
