Parkwood Holdings plc, the specialist support services group, is pleased to 
announce the appointment of Richard Anthony Allen as Non-Executive Director with 
effect from 1 October 2010. 
Richard is a Chartered Accountant with an MBA from the Harvard Business School. 
He has many years experience of managing international businesses in the 
Technology and Business Service sectors, including being an Executive Director 
of two FTSE companies, W. Canning plc, from which he led a MBO, and later at 
Acal plc.  Most recently, he was the Chief Operating Officer at a major 
subsidiary of a FTSE 100 group, Reed Elsevier plc.  He is also the Non-Executive 
Chairman of a private sustainability software company, Historic Futures Ltd. 
The following is disclosed in accordance with paragraph 9.6.13R of the Listing 
Rules: 
Application Developments plc for which Mr Allen was Non-Executive Chairman was 
placed into Administration on 23 May 2007 and dissolved on 21 August 2008. No 
criticisms of findings were passed against Mr Allen in this process.
