blinkx Appoints Sudhi Herle as Chief Product Officer
Former Global Head of Enterprise Products at Samsung brings
world class mobile, security and product development experience to
blinkx
London, England and San Francisco, CA. - February 18, 2015 -
blinkx plc ("blinkx" or the "Company"), today announces the
appointment of Mr Sudhi Herle as Chief Product Officer, joining the
Company Executive team. In this position, Herle will lead the
product, engineering and operations teams across the company.
Based in San Francisco, Herle brings over 15 years of
engineering, product development, mobile, security and advanced
R&D experience, with a track record of product innovation and
delivery. Previously, Herle was Global Head of Enterprise Products
at Samsung, where he was instrumental in creating the Samsung Knox
platform, as well as formulating the Global Enterprise strategy for
Samsung Mobile. Leading up to this role, he acted as Vice President
of Mobile R&D at Samsung and was key in launching the first
Samsung Android devices in the US market. Prior to Samsung, Herle
was head of Engineering as Sipera (Avaya), a VoIP security startup.
Herle holds more than thirty technology patents and undergraduate
and graduate degrees in Math and Computer Science from the Indian
Institute of Technology, Bombay and Temple University, in
Philadelphia, PA.
