Update regarding Energia del Sur, S.A.

Further to the announcement of 10 January 2018, the Directors of Rurelec PLC (AIM: RUR) announce that today they made a principal repayment of GBP200,000 on the remaining temporary loan facilities provided by Bridge Properties (Arena Central) Limited with the amount of principal outstanding now is GBP1 million. The facilities are due on 30 June 2019. Rurelec envisages making further repayments in the coming months
