                                 Q2 2007 RAJAR

The Local Radio Company Plc ("TLRC") announces that, according to Q2 2007 RAJAR
figures published today, total listening hours in Q2 2007 were 7.7 million
compared with 7.6 million in Q1 2007.

TLRC now has 920,000 listeners per week, compared with 907,000 in Q1 2007. Year-
on-year the Group has increased its overall number of listeners to 920,000 per
week from 879,000 per week, a 5% like-for-like increase.

Commenting on the figures, Alistair Mackenzie, Finance Director of TLRC, said:
"These are good figures. We have again increased our total number of listeners
and we are delighted to have improved our total listening hours during this
period."
