Vocalis Group plc (the "Group" or "Company")


The Company's shares were this morning suspended by the London Stock Exchange,
pending the publication of the preliminary results for the year ended 31 March
2003, in accordance with the Listing Rules of the UK Listing Authority.


On 4 July 2003 the Group announced that as at 30 June 2003, the Group had cash
balances of approximately #1.1 million and a cash burn of approximately #375,000
per month and that, as a consequence, the Directors were pursuing a number of
strategic options available to the Group.


The Board confirms that progress is being made in pursuit of these options and a
further announcement will be made in due course.
