national health care network, and UHC, the alliance of the nation's
leading not-for-profit academic medical centers, today
announced the close of their transaction, that combines the
businesses and operations of both organizations. The combined
organization will continue to use separate market-facing brands
until a new name is announced in early 2016. Financial terms of the
deal have not been disclosed.
The newly combined organization offers superior access to
leading practices, networking and knowledge sharing among its
membership, which includes independent, community-based health care
organizations as well as large, integrated systems and academic
medical centers.
