ASOS was advised on 18 August 2003 that Hoodless Brennan & Partners Plc
("Hoodless Brennan") had acquired 3,000,000 ordinary shares of the Company on 14
August 2003, representing 4.41 per cent. of the issued share capital of the
Company.

ASOS was also advised on 18 August 2003 that Hoodless Brennan sold 3,000,000
ordinary shares of the Company on 15 August 2003.

Hoodless Brennan therefore no longer has an interest in the issued ordinary
share capital of the Company.
