Invesco PowerShares Capital Management LLC, a leading provider of exchange-traded funds (ETFs), announced that on Tuesday, Nov. 25, it transferred five remaining PowerShares ETFs currently listed on the NYSE Alternext US LLC (formerly known as the American Stock Exchange -- "the Amex") to the NYSE Arca listing and trading platform. The move of the PowerShares ETFs came as a result of the merger of the Amex and NYSE Euronext, the holding company for NYSE Arca, which was announced Oct. 1, 2008. Effective Nov. 3, 2008, Invesco PowerShares successfully moved 74 of 79 ETFs from the Amex to NYSE Arca. This move was one of the single largest one-day transfers of ETFs in the history of both exchanges. Current shareholders are not required to take any actions as a result of the move.

The five PowerShares ETFs moved to NYSE Arca are as follows:

PFP PowerShares International Listed Private Equity Portfolio
PGF PowerShares Financial Preferred Portfolio
PGX PowerShares Preferred Portfolio
PIO PowerShares Global Water Portfolio
PSP PowerShares Listed Private Equity Portfolio
