Railway equipment maker Ansaldo STS (STS.MI), holding company CIR Spa (CIR.MI) and spirits maker Campari SpA (CPR.MI) will join the S&PMib index of Milan's blue chips, Standard & Poor's said in a statement received Monday and dated March 6.

Following the March half-yearly review of the S&P/MIB Index constituents, the three companies will replace broadband operator Fastweb SpA (FWB.MI), media group Gruppo Editoriale L'Espresso (ES.MI) and yellow-page publisher Seat Pagine Gialle SpA (PG.MI).

The changes will come into effect from the close of trade on March 20, S&P said.

In March and September, S&P reviews the constituents of the S&P/MIB Index to determine if any changes need to be made to increase the sector representation of the index and remove any stocks that show insufficient free float market capitalization or trading levels to remain on the index.
