Appoints Mike Shippey Senior Vice President, Wholesale Services

Frontier Communications Corporation (NASDAQ: FTR) today announced that Mike Shippey has been appointed Senior Vice President, Wholesale Services, effective immediately. Mr. Shippey will lead Frontier’s Carrier and Wholesale business, including oversight for sales and marketing, innovation in new solutions and the customer experience. Previously, he served as President of Wholesale Services at Windstream Holdings. Mr. Shippey will be based in Dallas, and reports to John Maduri, Executive Vice President and Chief Customer Officer.

Mr. Shippey most recently served as President, Wholesale of Windstream Holdings from 2014 to 2018, during which time he led a $700 million business and managed a 500-person team. Prior to Windstream Mr. Shippey held executive level and other leadership positions at YMAX Communications, Covista Communications and Teleglobe. He received his Bachelor of Science in Finance from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (Virginia Tech).
