Sanofi Proposes Reappointment of CEO Olivier Brandicourt to Board

Sanofi SA (SAN.FR) said Tuesday that it has proposed to
reappoint its Chief Executive Olivier Brandicourt and two other
directors to the board of directors, as well as appoint Emmanuel
Babeau as a new independent director.
The company said there would be a vote on the positions at the
general shareholders' meeting on May 2.
It has also proposed to reappoint directors Patrick Kron and
Christian Mulliez to its board of directors.
Sanofi said Robert Castaigne, board member since 2000 and
current chair of the audit committee, will not seek a new term.
Fabienne Lecorvaisier will succeed him, said the company.
The board has also created a new scientific committee, which
will be led by Thomas Suedhof, said Sanofi.
