AIG Names Anthony Vidovich as Chief Claims Officer, General Insurance

American International Group, Inc. (NYSE:AIG) today announced
that Anthony Vidovich will join the company as Chief Claims
Officer, General Insurance, effective May 14, 2018.
In this role, Mr. Vidovich will be responsible for the strategic
direction of General Insurance Claims, encompassing governance and
policy, settlement authorities, claims handling and global best
practices. Mr. Vidovich will report to Peter Zaffino, Chief
Executive Officer, General Insurance, and will serve as a member of
the General Insurance Executive Leadership Team.
Mr. Zaffino said: “Anthony is an accomplished Property and
Casualty executive with a demonstrated track record of managing
complex claims and legal issues. His significant industry expertise
and experience building high performing global teams will be valued
additions in this very important role for General Insurance.”

Mr. Vidovich is joining AIG from XL Catlin, where he served as
Global Head of Claims, Insurance & Reinsurance since 2015.
Previously, he was XL’s General Counsel for Insurance Claims. Prior
to XL, he was Associate General Counsel for Commercial Markets at
The Hartford after serving as Assistant General Counsel for
Reinsurance. Earlier in his career, Mr. Vidovich was an attorney at
Blank Rome LLP in Philadelphia, where he practiced corporate
litigation with a primary focus on Property Casualty and Life and
Health insurers.
Mr. Vidovich holds a B.A. from Boston University and a J.D. from
Rutgers University School of Law.
