QuestSoft, a provider of Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA) and
Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) compliance solutions and geocoding
services, announced the integration of HMDA RELIEF, the company's
flagship Windows(R)-based HMDA compliance software, with
INTERLINQ(R) E3(R), a loan production platform from Harland
Financial Solutions, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of John H.
Harland Company (NYSE: JH). The interface continues to build on and
strengthen the alliance between Harland Financial Solutions and
QuestSoft by seamlessly integrating more than 70 key HMDA and Fair
Lending fields from INTERLINQ E3 to HMDA RELIEF, including new
fields QuestSoft added to help lenders combat false fair-lending
accusations. This integration enables lenders to originate loans
with INTERLINQ E3, while automatically using HMDA RELIEF to ensure
compliance with the latest HMDA regulations and monitor Fair
Lending practices. This combined solution reduces errors, improves
internal efficiencies and speeds up the reporting process for
banks, credit unions and other mortgage lenders, regardless of
size. The new interface also allows INTERLINQ E3 users to track and
verify customer addresses with QuestSoft's Instant Geocoder
software, check for and correct dozens of common HMDA reporting
errors automatically and instantly produce more than 30 graphically
detailed analysis reports on HMDA and Fair Lending data. The
platform relies on the latest HMDA specifications including
rate-spread calculations, ethnicity codes and pre-approval
statuses. "The interface helps INTERLINQ E3 customers reduce the
likelihood or errors during HMDA reporting, while decreasing the
time and resources required to ensure HMDA compliance," said Joe
Filoseta, vice president of Business Development for Harland
Financial Solutions' Mortgage Solutions Group. "The features of E3
make this and other supply-chain business-partner integrations a
key driver of increased productivity and improved production
pull-through." "The HMDA RELIEF interface for E3 is a joint effort
to provide E3 customers with comprehensive HMDA compliance options
that further boost the accuracy of HMDA submissions," said Leonard
Ryan, president of QuestSoft. "The difference is deeper integration
than is typical and meticulous efforts in field mapping by Harland
Financial Solutions." About Harland Financial Solutions Harland
