(TSX: SNC) is pleased to announce that Christian Brown has been appointed to the newly
created position of Corporate Development Officer, and that
Martin Adler will join SNC-Lavalin
as President, Oil & Gas. Both positions will become effective
August 15, 2016, and report directly
to Neil Bruce, President and Chief
Executive Officer, as part of our Executive Committee.
Mr. Brown will be responsible for driving our Operational
Excellence approach, Business Development cross selling and
managing larger merger and acquisition transactions when the
company has decided to execute them. He will continue to serve on
the Executive Committee and this position is a peer to the Sector
presidents.

Mr. Brown became President of SNC-Lavalin's Oil & Gas
(O&G) sector in 2014, when the company acquired Kentz
Corporation, where he had been CEO since 2012 and overseen
considerable growth of the company. He led the Kentz integration
and the on-going success of the O&G sector during a challenging
economic period for the industry.
Prior to joining SNC-Lavalin, Mr. Adler held a number of senior
positions internationally. He joins the company from Seafox
Contractors where he was Group Chief Executive Officer and Board
Member. He has 25 years of experience in the oil and gas, refining,
petrochemical, engineering and construction, and transportation
industries, which includes positions at Dockwise, The Shaw Group
and Fluor Corporation.
