TORONTO, Nov. 2, 2016 /CNW/ - Symbility Solutions Inc.
("Symbility" or the "Company"), (TSX.V: SY), a global software
company focused on modernizing the insurance industry, today
announced that it has successfully completed the ISO surveillance
audits and has been awarded the ISO 22301:2012 Certificate. The ISO
22301:2012 Certificate is for "Symbility business continuity
management system (BCMS) including recovery of global critical
business functions, infrastructure and customer related support
consisting of development, management, maintenance and delivery of
Symbility products, services, applications and data". The license
is valid until October 2019.
Through these extensive audits conducted by Professional
Evaluation and Certification Board (PECB), an independent provider
of management systems assessment and certification, Symbility
received renewals on the previously announced ISO/IEC 27001:2013
and ISO/IEC 27034-01:2011 Certifications, as well as the expansion
of the ISO/IEC 27001:2013 scope to include Symbility locations in
Europe, UK and Germany. Both certification renewals are valid
until October 2018.
"We are extremely pleased to announce that Symbility Property
has now completed the ISO Surveillance Audits and has achieved the
highest standards of security certification from PECB," said
James Swayze, CEO of Symbility
Solutions. "With the renewal of our two previously announced
certificates, the global expansion of the ISO 27001:2013
Certificate and the addition of the ISO 22301:2012 Certification,
we are able to demonstrate to our customers that we maintain the
highest security measures possible. Customers on a global scale are
seeking solutions providers that are able to ensure the safety of
their proprietary data, and by completing the ISO Surveillance
Audits, we join a very select group of companies that are able to
match this commitment to meeting security needs."
"As data security and management come to the forefront of global
concerns, Symbility Property is well positioned to put customers at
ease knowing that we take security measures very seriously,"
offered Joel Moreno, Corporate
Security Officer of Symbility Solutions. "The addition of the ISO
22301:2012 Certification and the wider scope of our ISO 27001:2013
Certification, which are internationally recognized as the leading
standard of security measures, express our commitment to ensuring
that our customers' data is in safe hands and that we are
constantly reassessing our security measures."
