ARCO DECLARES REGULAR QUARTERLY DIVIDEND ON THREE CLASSES OF STOCK
 
   Los Angeles - ARCO's board of directors today declared regular
quarterly dividends on three classes of the company's stock.
 
   A dividend of 71.25 cents a share was declared on Common Stock
payable September 15 to stockholders of record at the close of
business on August 14.
 
   A dividend of 75 cents a share was declared on U.S dollars 3.00
Cumulative Convertible Preference Stock payable September 18 to
stockholders of record at the close of business on August 14.
 
   A dividend of 70 cents a share was declared on dlrs 2.80
Cumulative Convertible Preference Stock payable September 18 to
stockholders of record at the close of business on August 14.
