                    Result of Extraordinary General Meeting
                      Change of Name to Albany Capital plc


The Board of Bionex Investments plc is pleased to announce that, at the
Company's Extraordinary General Meeting held earlier today, the resolutions
proposed to shareholders were duly passed.


To reflect the investment strategy adopted by the Company at the EGM (and as
agreed by shareholders at the EGM today) the Company is to change its name to
Albany Capital plc with effect from 10th October 2006.
