On 16th November 2005 Brammer plc was notified by Devon County Council of the
following interest in the ordinary 20p shares of the Company as at 14th
September 2005:

Devon County Council does not have a direct holding in the above mentioned
shares but is an interested party in these shares by virtue of its relationship
with Hermes Focus Asset Management Limited (UK Small Companies Focus Fund) .
