                           Transaction in own shares



Commoditrade announces that on Friday, 10 December it purchased 3,000,000
Ordinary Shares of 0.1p each at an average price of 23.75 pence per share.



The highest price and lowest price paid for these shares were 24.0 pence and
23.25 pence respectively. All the purchased shares will be cancelled.



The number of Ordinary Shares purchased to date represents 6.18% of the voting
rights attributable to the total Ordinary Shares in issue prior to such
purchases.



The Company has 358,648,114 Ordinary Shares in issue.



The above figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the
calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their
interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company.
