                          Conversion of Loan Stock 2008


Pursuant to the conversion of #3,818,500 nominal 8% Convertible Loan Stock 2008,
application has been made to the London Stock Exchange for 44,923,522 ordinary
shares of 1p each in the Company (the "shares") to be admitted to trading on the
Alternative Investment Market. It is expected that admission will take place and
dealings will commence in the shares on the 24 October 2003.
