Goldshield Group plc is pleased to announce the appointment of Russell John
Race as a non-executive director with effect from yesterday.

Mr Race is also a non-executive director of Queensborough Holdings plc.  Prior
to joining Goldshield he was a corporate finance director of Hoare Govett
Limited.
