Appointment of George Edward Murgitroyd as Director



The Group announces the appointment of G. Edward Murgitroyd (aged 28) as an
Executive Director with immediate effect.  Edward Murgitroyd is the son of Ian
Murgitroyd, Executive Chairman of the Group and joins the Board of Directors as
a second representative of the Murgitroyd family, majority shareholders in the
company.



Edward Murgitroyd, a Glasgow University graduate in Mechanical Engineering, has
been with the Group's subsidiary, Murgitroyd & Company, since 1997 and has sat
on the Risk Assessment Committee since its inception.



In accordance with paragraph F of Schedule 2 of the AIM Rules, Edward
Murgitroyd's past and present Directorships and Partnerships over the previous
five years are listed below:-
