--Royal Dutch Shell is in talks with France's Maurel & Prom to sell its stake in a joint-venture oil project in Venezuela as it tries to scale down its crude business in the OPEC-member nation, Reuters reports, citing unnamed sources.

--The Anglo-Dutch oil producer is looking to sell its 40% stake in Petroregional del Lago, a joint venture with Petroleos de Venezuela SA, the Venezuelan state-owned oil and gas company, Reuters says.
