TETHYAN RESOURCES PLC
GRANT OF OPTIONS
Tethyan Resources PLC ("Tethyan" or the "Company"), announces
that options have today been granted to certain directors, as set
out below, at an exercise price of 2.4p, and exercisable up until
the fifth anniversary of grant:

In addition, Fabian Baker, COO of the Company, has been awarded
1,000,000 options on the same terms as described above.
The grant of options is deemed to be a related party transaction
for the purposes of Rule 13 of the AIM Rules. Peter Mullens and
Didier Fohlen, being the independent directors of the Company for
the purposes of the grant of options, consider, having consulted
with the Company's Nominated Adviser, that the terms of the grant
of options are fair and reasonable insofar as the Shareholders are
concerned.
