Pursuant to Rule 17 of the AIM Rules, TGE announces that it was yesterday 
notified that Gas Fin Investments S.A. (which is part of the Gas Fin Group of 
companies controlled by Vladimir Puklavec) has made the following purchases of 
ordinary shares in TGE: 
  *  29,500 ordinary shares in the Company at a price of GBP20.50 per ordinary share 
  on 13.01.09; 
  *  6,000 ordinary shares in the Company at a price of GBP17.75 per ordinary share 
  on 04.02.09; and 
  *  14,100 ordinary shares in the Company at a price of GBP17.50 per ordinary share 
  on 05.02.09. 
 
The Gas Fin group of companies is now beneficially interested in the ordinary
