Director's shareholding

The Company was notified on 2 December 1999 that on that day Mr Roy Cotterill,
the Company's non-executive Chairman, sold 71,322 ordinary shares of 5p each
in the Company ("ordinary shares") at a price of 400p per share.  Following
this transaction Mr Cotterill is interested in 90,000 ordinary shares,
representing 0.21 per cent. of the Company's issued share capital.
