Citgo Petroleum Corp. has delayed restarting an alkylation unit
that caused a near-fatal explosion at its Texas refinery, sources
close to plant operations said Tuesday. Exxon Mobil Corp. (XOM)
said Monday that two unidentified units were unexpectedly shut
Saturday at its Torrance, Calif., refinery.
Valero Energy Corp. (VLO) shut a coker unit Monday and said it
would take the related gasifier complex offline this week, as
previously announced.
