Shoe retailer Geox SpA (GEO.MI) said Thursday it expects to maintain the same net cash position as it had at the end of 2008.

At the end of 2008, Geox's net cash position stood at EUR58.2 million.

The company said the figure might even increase but it is too early to make any estimates.
