The Romanian Leu jumped to an 8-month high of 2.8427 versus the US dollar by about 8:50 am ET Thursday. Thereafter, the lue reversed its direction versus the greenback and currently trading near 2.8764, compared to 2.8617 hit late New York Wednesday.
