South African Rand Falls From 13-month High Against Dollar

The South African rand weakened against the U.S. dollar after
reaching a 13-month high of 7.3625 at 2:15 am ET Thursday. At
present, the dollar-rand pair is worth 7.5560, compared to 7.5392
hit late New York Wednesday. On the downside, 7.584 is seen as the
next target level for the South African currency.
South Africa's manufacturing production report for July has been
slated for release at 7:00 am ET today.
