Greenback Surges Up To 12-day High Versus South African Rand

Against its South African counterpart, the dollar traded higher
during New York deals on Monday. At about 10:10 am ET, the
greenback climbed to 7.7499 versus the rand, which may be compared
to yesterday's closing value of 7.6575. This set a 12-day high for
the US currency. Thereafter, the pair reversed its direction and
currently trading near 7.7201.
