CHARLESTON, W.Va., Sept. 14 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- City Holding Company (NASDAQ:CHCO), a $2.5 billion bank holding company headquartered in Charleston, today announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, City National Bank of West Virginia, prevailed in a lawsuit filed by Jack Whittaker. On Wednesday, September 12, 2007, just a few days prior to trial, Whittaker dropped his lawsuit and all claims against City National Bank in open court in Kanawha County, West Virginia.
