On October 22, 2008, Targanta Therapeutics Corporation issued a press release announcing efficacy and safety results from its Phase 2 clinical study investigating oritavancin at Single or Infrequent Doses for the Treatment of Complicated Skin and Skin Structure Infections (cSSSI), or SIMPLIFI.
