Company Mobilizes Support for Fort McMurray
Reconstruction
TORONTO, May 26, 2016 /CNW/ - Accenture (NYSE:
ACN) today announced CAD$100,000 in
cash together with significant pro-bono contributions to support
disaster relief and reconstruction efforts in the Alberta, Canada, communities engulfed by
wildfires this month.

families, and the people of Alberta who have been affected by these
wildfires," said Bill Morris, Canada
President and Senior Managing Director at Accenture. "We are
committed to helping them rebuild quickly and effectively, and
emerge as an even stronger community."
Accenture's contributions include the following mix of financial
giving and time and skills of its people:
- Accenture will donate $100,000 to
the Canadian Red Cross. Cash grants will offer support for the
immediate response to the crisis.
- Accenture will provide significant pro bono donations to fund
consulting services to the community to support re-entry and
rebuilding

support of the region, collaborating with leaders and volunteers

support an expedient recovery, and this donation reflects the
commitment we have to our people, our clients, their families and

Fort McMurray is a municipality
in the northeast region of the Canadian province of Alberta. A fire began there on May 1 and has spread across more than 500,000
hectares of Canada's boreal
forest, including numerous populated areas.
