Fiat Chrysler Automobiles NV plans to add several new models to
its Maserati sports car brand through 2018 with a plan to grow
sales to 75,000 from 15,400 today.
Maserati will add a new sports coupe called the Alfieri and a
convertible model, as well as a new sport-utility vehicle. It also
will come out with a completely redone version of its GranTurismo
flagship model.
Fiat Chrysler estimates revenue from the vehicle line will grow
from EUR1.7 billion in 2013 to more than EUR6 billion by 2018.
"Maserati will deliver double-digit margins throughout the plan
period," said Harald Wester, chief executive of the Alfa Romeo,
Maserati and Abarth brands.
Mr. Wester delivered the presentation at an investor event
Tuesday.
