Passenger traffic

In May 2009, passenger traffic at A�roports de Paris (Paris:ADP) (Pink Sheets:AEOPF) dropped by 6.3% compared to May 2008. Paris airports handled a total of 7.2 million passengers divided up between 5.0�million for Paris-Charles de Gaulle (-7%) and 2.2 million for Paris-Orly (-4.5%). This month of May was penalized by an unfavourable comparison base effect, as in May 2008 traffic had been very dynamic (+6.7%). Over the first five months of the year, traffic dropped by 6.6%.

• This month of May was marked by a decline in international traffic (excluding Europe) of 5.9%. Traffic on routes to and from Africa was stable. It grew by 0.6%. Traffic on North America routes fell by 8.1% while Latin America dropped by 11.2%. On Middle Eastern and Asian routes, traffic dropped by 5.3% and 11.5% respectively.
• Domestic traffic decreased by 4.9%.
• European traffic fell by 7.2% including -6.6% on Schengen routes and -9.4% for the British and Irish markets.

The number of connecting passengers decreased by 4.8% in May 2009 compared with May 2008. Over the first five months of the year, the number of connecting passengers decreased by 5.0%, with a connecting rate of 24.6% (24.2% over the first five months).

Taking into account the changes noticed since the beginning of the year and the global economic outlook, passenger traffic at A�roports de Paris is now likely to record a decrease between -4.5�% and -6.5�% (against a previous assumption of a decrease between -2.5�% and -4.5�%). On this basis, A�roports de Paris maintains its slightly positive growth forecast for 2009 revenue. The 2009 EBITDA should be in the range of 2008 EBITDA (against a slightly positive growth announced previously).

Aircraft movements

The number of aircraft movements saw a 5.2% decrease in May 2009 year on year (-6.2% at Paris-Charles de Gaulle and -2.8% at Paris-Orly). The passenger load factor reached 73.4% compared with 74.7% in April 2008.
