QUEBEC, June 22, 2011 /CNW/ -- QUEBEC, June 22, 2011 /CNW Telbec/ - (TSXV: NVK) - Mr. Michel Gaudreau, President and CEO of Novik Inc., is pleased to announce that the company has achieved record monthly sales for the month of May.  Mr. Gaudreau explains, "We have delivered orders of more than $3.3M to our clients in May which is a record for monthly sales since Novik first started.  Our previous record was also in May of last year when we delivered orders worth $2.9M.  This growth in sales can be put down to an increase in orders received from our European and Mexican distributors as well as warm weather returning to the North American territory." Mr. Gaudreau adds, "This trend is continuing into June and we should achieve a similar level of sales. This could mean that for its second quarter Novik will be able to announce a growth in sales for a seventh consecutive quarter compared to the same period in the previous year.  The current quarter should also be a record quarter for Novik sales.  We also believe we will maintain the same growth rate in sales of 15% that we achieved in the first quarter of this year." Mr. Gaudreau ends by noting, "We are continuing to maintain our current growth in sales while ensuring that profits are higher than those of previous years.  Our current situation means that we are optimistic of hitting our targets for the 2011 financial year."
