Troymet Exploration Corp. (TSX VENTURE:TYE) ("Troymet" or the "Company") is
pleased to announce the completion of its fall exploration program on the North
prospect of its Golden Eagle project in northern British Columbia. The program
consisted of stream sediment sampling, prospecting and a reconnaissance diamond
drilling program. The Company is very pleased to have completed this program
before the onset of winter.

The five-hole (506-metre) program successfully tested four previously un-drilled
targets in the West Gully, LQ, Stibnite and Cowboy zones. These targets were not
amenable to stripping or trenching and are widely spaced
(http://www.troymet.com/s/GoldenEagle-Images.asp). A preliminary examination of
the core is highly encouraging.

LQ zone

Holes N0902 and N0903 targeted the LQ vein and intersected a wide structural
zone (+20 metres) comprising sulphide-bearing quartz veining and breccias to a
vertical depth of approximately 120 metres. Trace to 15% stringer and
disseminated pyrite, arsenopyrite, sphalerite, chalcopyrite, pyrrhotite as well
as semi-massive bands of pyrrhotite + chalcopyrite are hosted in, and also
cross-cut, more than one stage of quartz veining, suggesting multiple or
episodic mineralizing events.

Stibnite zone

Hole N0904 tested the north part of the Stibnite zone. The hole intersected
strongly tectonized feldspar porphyry and shales. The porphyry carries 1-5%
disseminated, fracture and stringer controlled pyrite. The shales carry 1-10%
disseminated and veinlet controlled pyrite-pyrrhotite, as well as clasts of
semi-massive pyrite with reaction rims possibly representing an early
volcanogenic massive sulphide style of mineralization.

Stibnite-Cowboy zones

Hole N0905, drilled between the Stibnite and Cowboy zones, intersected a
structural zone with trace to 10% disseminated and stringer controlled pyrite,
arsenopyrite, pyrrhotite and galena, that is similar to the structural zone at
the bottom of hole N0903. These holes are approximately 1,300 metres apart and
appear to have intersected the same structure.

West Gully zone

Hole N0901 intersected a +40 metre wide altered and sheared zone carrying trace
to 10% disseminated and veinlet controlled sulphides with moderate to strong
sericite alteration and silicification. The sulphides comprise pyrite,
arsenopyrite, stibnite, galena, sphalerite and chalcopyrite. The zone starts at
a depth of approximately 124.0 metres and continues to the end of the hole.

The 100% owned Golden Eagle project is situated at the southern end of the
Tintina Gold Belt, which contains many intrusion-related gold deposits such as
Pogo (Alaska), Fort Knox (Alaska), Dublin Gulch (Yukon) and the recent discovery
at Underworld Resources' White Gold property near Dawson City (Yukon). The
property has the potential to host several deposit types, including bulk tonnage
intrusion related deposits with associated skarn deposits, high-grade
gold-silver vein-hosted deposits and volcanogenic massive sulphide (VMS)
deposits. Thirteen separate mineralized zones have been identified to date over
the property's 25-kilometre long extent.

Numerous zones of structurally controlled gold-silver-arsenic-antimony
mineralization and gold-in-soil anomalies occur over the approximately 5 x 5
kilometre area known as the North prospect. The mineralization and the anomalies
are related to two major NNW-trending structures - the Ben Fault and the Paddy
Fault - and to an underlying granite-related gold system. Both structures are
possible splays of the Llewellyn fault, a major mineralizing structure in
northwestern BC. The Company believes the North prospect may host one or more
bulk-tonnage gold deposits.

The 2008 drilling program is managed by Scott Casselman Geological of
Whitehorse, YK. Logging and sampling of the drill core is progress. All samples
will be analysed at the ALS Chemex laboratory in Vancouver, BC and assay results
will be released once received and compiled.
