Royal Ahold Delhaize NV said Wednesday that its supervisory board intends to propose the reappointment of Frans Muller as president and chief executive at its annual general meeting.

The food retail group will hold its annual meeting on April 12, 2023.

"We are delighted that Frans will continue as president and CEO of Ahold Delhaize, subject to shareholder approval," Supervisory Board Chairman Peter Agnefjall said.

Mr. Muller became president and CEO on July 1, 2018.
