Balfour Beatty plc (the
"Group" or "Balfour Beatty"), the international
infrastructure group, announces that, on 31
October 2024, the Company cancelled 27,123,782 ordinary shares that
were previously held in Treasury (the "Treasury Share
Cancellation"). Following the Treasury Share Cancellation,
the Group owns no shares in treasury.
In accordance with the Financial
Conduct Authority's ('FCA') Disclosure Guidance and Transparency
Rule 5.6.1R, the Company notifies the market that following the
Treasury Share Cancellation, as at 31 October 2024:
§ the
Company's issued share capital comprised 517,023,820 Ordinary
shares of 50p each ('Shares'), each with one vote;
§ no Ordinary
shares of 50p each are held in treasury; and
§ the total number
of voting rights in the Company is 517,023,820.
The above figure of
517,023,820 may be
used by shareholders (and others with
notification obligations) as the denominator for the calculations
by which they can determine whether they are required to notify
their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company
under the FCA's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.
