Board change and current trading


BNS Telecom Group plc (AIM: BTP; 'BNS' or the 'Group'), one of the leading
providers of white labelled telecoms services to the UK SME and corporate
market, is making a Board change and updating the market on current trading.

Andrew Geoffrey Goldwater (ACA), Group Financial Controller, is appointed Group
Finance Director with immediate effect.  Andrew, aged 33, joined BNS in March
this year having spent eight years rising to senior manager level with Ernst &
Young, the Group's auditor.

David Horrocks, the previous Group Finance Director, has left BNS.  David joined
BNS in January 2005 and successfully saw the Group through its AIM flotation in
November 2005. Since then David has been instrumental in completing a number of
acquisitions, including 3g (Comms) in March 2007 and also overseeing the sale
and leaseback of the Group's head office in May 2007.

The Board would like to take this opportunity to thank David for his
contribution to BNS and to wish him well for the future.

The core business has made a strong start to the new financial year. In
particular the Board are very encouraged by the pipeline of sales and orders for
the recently launched IP Telephony products. The Board remains firmly focussed
on delivering improved results from its core activities.

As previously announced the Group plans to provide further details on the root
and branch review of the Network Services Division shortly.  The preliminary
results for the year ended 31 July 2007 are expected to be announced on Tuesday
30 October 2007.

There is no further information required to be disclosed pursuant to Schedule 2
(g) of the AIM Rules.
