FINDERS RESOURCES LIMITED

PLACEMENT OF SHARES


Finders Resources Limited ('the Company') is pleased to announce that it has
completed a placement of 1,478,000 new ordinary shares at 25.375 pence per share
to new and existing institutional investors to raise gross proceeds of
approximately #375,000.

The funds will be used to supplement the Company's working capital as it
progresses towards the development of the Wetar Copper Project and Ojolali
Gold-Silver Project and a proposed listing on the Australian Stock Exchange.

Finders is continuing to explore and evaluate both projects, in addition to
working towards completion of project studies and financing at Wetar through
2007-8.

Application has been made for the admission of the 1,478,000 ordinary shares to
the AIM market of the London Stock Exchange plc.


Following the placement, the Company will have 54,393,220 shares on issue.
