             Goldshield given leave to appeal to the House of Lords

The Court of Appeal gave it's Judgment on 9 November 2007 as to whether the
conduct alleged by the Serious Fraud Office against Goldshield Group plc
("Goldshield") and others could, if proved, constitute a  offence (the
so-called "No-crime" argument). The Court of Appeal found against Goldshield and
others but has granted leave to appeal to the House of Lords. The House of Lords
hearing of the appeal is likely to take place on 30 and 31 January 2008.

Commenting on the Judgement, Keith Hellawell, Chairman of Goldshield said
"Whilst we are disappointed that the Appeal failed, we are pleased that we were
granted immediate leave to appeal to the House of Lords".
