    GOLDSHIELD GROUP PLC

    ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING STATEMENT

    Speaking at the Group's Annual General Meeting today, Rakesh Patel, Chief Executive of Goldshield Group plc ("Goldshield"), the
pharmaceutical and consumer health company, will make the following statement. 

     "  This has been a year of significant progress for Goldshield. Our legal proceedings have advanced well. On 11th July 2008, Mr.
Justice Pitchford ruled in Goldshield's favour, reinforcing the House of Lords' decision earlier in the year. Should there be an appeal, we
will defend our position vigourously."
       
    " I am delighted to report that the business has performed well. We continue with our investment programme in the Company and our return
to the core business has proven successful."

    " We can now focus on developing the business and further enhance value for our shareholders. Looking ahead, Goldshield has a very
exciting future. I look forward to making a full update at our half year results in November."
