Notifiable interest



The Company was informed on 9 November 2001 that on 7 November 2001, Schroder
Investment Management Limited purchased 75,000 ordinary shares at a price of #
2.07 and now has an interest in 1,845,000 ordinary shares in the Company,
representing 10.36% of the Company's issued share capital.  The shares are
held in portfolios managed by Schroder Investment Management Limited on a
discretionary basis for clients under investment management arrangements.



The Company was also informed that, of those 1,845,000 ordinary shares in the
Company, 20,000 are registered or to be registered in the name of Schroder
Nominees Limited (a wholly owned subsidiary company of Schroder Investment
Management Limited), 1,703,400 are to be held in a unit trust operated and
managed by Schroder Unit Trusts Limited (a wholly owned subsidiary company of
Schroder Investment Management Limited) to be registered in the name of Chase
Nominees Limited, 37,600 are to be registered in the name of Schroder
Investment North America Limited (a wholly owned subsidiary company of
Schroder Investment Management Limited), 20,000 are to be registered in the
name of Chase Manhatten Bank, a further 24,000 are to be registered in the
name of Chase Nominees Limited, 30,000 are to be registered in the name of MSS
Nominees Limited a/c: 759371 and 10,000 are to be registered in the name of
RBSTB Nominees Limited.
