Statement re suspension of trading in the Company's Ordinary Shares on AIM 
 
 
As anticipated in its announcement of 6 March 2009, Hurlingham Plc announces 
that trading in its ordinary shares of 75p each ("Ordinary Shares") has been 
suspended by the London Stock Exchange with effect from 1 April 2009, as the 
Company has not completed an AIM qualifying acquisition within twelve months of 
becoming an Investing Company pursuant to Rule 15 of the AIM Rules for 
Companies. As explained in further detail in the circular to Shareholders dated 
6 March 2009, the suspension can be effective for up to six months. If during 
that six month period the Company completes an AIM qualifying acquisition, the 
Ordinary Shares may be restored to trading on AIM.  If by 2 October 2009, an AIM 
qualifying acquisition has not been completed, trading in the Ordinary Shares 
would then be cancelled from AIM. 
 
 
In addition, the Company announces that its financial statements for the year 
ended 30 September 2008 (the "Financial Statements") will not be published until 
after the passing of two resolutions at the Company's General Meeting referred 
to in the circular to Shareholders dated 6 March 2009, as the resolutions relate 
to material post-balance sheet events in relation to those Financial Statements. 
The General Meeting has been convened to be held at 1.30 p.m. on 2 April 2009. 
Publication of the Financial Statements is also subject to the subsequent 
sanction of the High Court to its reduction of capital by way of cancellation of 
the 100 issued 'A' shares in its capital that is referred to in the resolutions. 
The Company expects to be in a position to publish the Financial Statements and 
post them to shareholders in May 2009.
