Heywood Williams Group PLC ("the Company") advises that, as required by the 
FSA's Disclosure Rules and Transparency Rule Sourcebook, it was notified on 15 
May 2009 by W H Ireland Limited on behalf of Mr Paul Anthony Bell that following 
an acquisition of shares on 
 14 May 2009, Mr Bell now has a direct interest 
in 8,500,000 of the voting shares of the Company. As a result Mr Bell's 
percentage holding crosses the 10% threshold representing 10.02% of the 
Company's issued ordinary share capital.
