DIRECTORATE CHANGE

MMT Computing plc ('MMT') regret to announce that Mike Tilbrook, who recently
handed over the Chairmanship of MMT to Tom Hall, is to retire from the MMT Board
on 31st January 2003 for medical reasons. Mike has been, and continues to be,
treated for a severe long-standing illness and has reluctantly decided that he
must heed the strong medical advice he has been given.

Tom Hall, MMT Chairman said 'Mike created this company some 25 years ago and his
leadership over this period has produced significant returns to shareholders. He
has left the company with a strong balance sheet with in excess of #6m in cash
and no borrowings, but the real assets of this company are the people. The
loyalty and respect that Mike enjoyed are clearly illustrated in the quality of
the staff within MMT. Health considerations permitting, Mike has agreed to
continue as a consultant to the company allowing the board access to his
considerable knowledge and experience of the IT sector. On a personal note, I
would like to thank Mike for his help and guidance during my time working with
him on the board of MMT Computing plc. The board is committed to continue to
enhance shareholder value and our strong asset base provides a platform for this
to be achieved.'
