Vinci Wins Construction Contract for LNG Tank in UK

Vinci SA said Thursday that it has won a contract worth 200
million euros ($242.5 million) from National Grid PLC to build a
190,000 cubic meters liquefied-natural-gas tank in the U.K.
The French construction-and-infrastructure company said the
project will contribute to expanding the capacity of the largest
LNG terminal in Europe, which is located on the Isle of Grain.
Works are set to last until June 2025.
The engineering, procurement and construction contract was
awarded to Entrepose Contracting, Vinci Construction Grands Projets
and Taylor Woodrow, all subsidiaries of Vinci Construction.
